No, it is an event hosted and sponsored by the Alpha Lambda Center for Excellence Foundation. The ALCFE has an MOU relationship with the Alpha Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., but is a separate legal entity operating without direct or indirect control by the Fraternity or the chapter. Many of the Foundation's board members are active members of the fraternity; the Foundation operates as a fully autonomous organization independent of the fraternity chapter.
